It can achieve sound insulation of 42dB, in compliance with China National Sound Insulation Testing Standard GBJ121-88. “Kun’ao” wall panel has excellent sound insulation performance due to its composition and structure, i.e. Due to its compacted concrete body, and polystyrene particles in the light-mass concrete. When sound wave is transmitted to the space occupied by the polystyrene particles, slight vibration happens to consume sound energy and reduce sound intensity. So the sound insulation effect of “Kun’ao” lightweight wall panel is more excellent than ordinary brick wall. The sound insulation effect of ordinary brick wall is 30-35dB.
